BettaImage was set up in 2010 by John Williams to offer consultancy services to small service provider businesses at fees they can afford, primarily in Africa but not exclusively. There are literally hundreds of thousands of small businesses set up and run by ambitious hard working entrepreneurs who are so involved on a day to day basis running their business that they never have time to stand back and reflect upon how the business can be rebranded or restyled to move it forward to a new level of success. John Williams experience and expertise is in managing educational agencies. He set up CETO, an agency representing British Correspondence Colleges, in West Africa in 1974. By 1986 the total billings for his many clients was in excess of two million pounds a year. In 1987 CETO closed due to the huge overnight devaluation of many of the local currencies and so the cost of courses was prohibitive for local students. In 1987 he set up BETTA, an agency representing British colleges and universities offering advisory and placement services to local students wanting to study in U.K. By 2006 BETTA had twenty-six offices in eleven countries in sub Saharan Africa and was the leading and largest educational agency in Africa; billings for BETTA’s clients exceeded twelve million pounds a year. There are now over thirty educational agencies in Africa managed by former BETTA staff. This is
testimony to his leadership and training coupled with his
enthusiastic zest for business that rubbed off on those working
with him. He heads a team of innovative professionals including a copywriter, a graphic designer, a photographer, a web designer, a researcher and a public relations officer. Ideas flow from the team that he utilises to create the right image for our clients. |
